Congratulations are in order for Alanis Morissette and her husband Mario Treadway aka ‘Souleye’, as the couple recently welcomed their third child, a son named Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway, on August 8, 2019. At 45-years-old, Alanis amazed fans by looking glamorous and the perfect picture of health throughout her pregnancy. Alanis shared the first photo of baby Winter on her Instagram account where it has gone viral. Alanis and Mario are also parents to eight-year-old Ever and two-year-old Onyx.
Alanis waited four days before sharing the birth announcement with the world. On August 12, 2019, Alanis shared the following message with her more than 431,000 Instagram followers.
Fans and followers left their congratulatory messages to the seven-time Grammy-winning Canadian singer. Best known for her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, Alanis has been making beloved and iconic music for decades. Now fans are leaving sweet messages for the singer on her Instagram account and sharing in her joy with her new addition to the family.

Winter Mercy isn’t the only thing that Alanis has been birthing as she’s also working on a new album. Fans have waited patiently for a new album from Alanis whose last record was Havoc and Bright Lights released in 2012.
Jagged Little Pill, for which Alanis won the 1996 Grammy in both Album of the Year and Rock Album of the Year categories, has been turned into a Broadway musical.
